Exciting News: Brackley E-Waste Recycling Wins Prestigious Grant!

We are thrilled to announce that Brackley E-Waste Recycling has been awarded a significant grant from the Business & IP Centre Northamptonshire’s (BIPC) Build Your Business initiative. This initiative, backed by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and allocated by West Northamptonshire Council, aims to support and foster new businesses in the region.

Out of numerous applicants, 18 outstanding entrepreneurs from West Northamptonshire were selected to receive a £2,000 grant each. These funds are designed to help burgeoning enterprises like ours cover essential business expenses and catalyse growth. The selection process was rigorous, involving attending webinars and courses as well as submitting a comprehensive business case, and we are honoured to be among the winners​ (West Northamptonshire Council)​​ (BIPC Northamptonshire)​.

Our journey with BIPC Northamptonshire has been immensely beneficial. Through their Build Your Business program, we participated in various modules covering essential business topics such as marketing, financial planning, and business growth strategies. This comprehensive support system has been invaluable in strengthening our business foundation and preparing us for sustainable growth​ (BIPC Northamptonshire)​.

Receiving this grant is a testament to our commitment to promoting responsible e-waste recycling and contributing to a greener environment. We are dedicated to utilizing these funds to enhance our operations, expand our services, and continue our mission of reducing electronic waste and promoting sustainability.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the West Northamptonshire Council and BIPC Northamptonshire for this incredible opportunity. Their unwavering support for local businesses is helping to cultivate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.

Our Net Zero Commitment

At Brackley E-waste Recycling, we are committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, in alignment with the aims of the WENTA net zero campaign. We recognize the urgency of addressing climate change and are taking steps to minimize our environmental impact. As a company working in the recycling sector we recognize we have a duty to do everything we can to achieve this goal. Our net zero commitment includes the following.

To achieve our net zero goal, we will:

Measure and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions: We will regularly measure our emissions and set targets for reduction, in line with the WENTA net zero campaign. We will prioritize energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in our e-waste recycling operations, and seek to minimize emissions from transportation and logistics.

Prioritize waste reduction and recycling:

We will continue to improve our e-waste recycling processes to reduce waste and minimize the use of virgin materials and supplies, in line with the circular economy principles promoted by the WENTA campaign.

We will accomplish this through

  • Using recycled packaging
  • Buying recycled supplies
  • Fixing or repairing first

Work with suppliers and partners:

We will work with our suppliers and partners to reduce their environmental impact and promote sustainability throughout our supply chain, as encouraged by the WENTA campaign.

Our means of achieving this will be

  • Prioritising green suppliers
  • Reducing carbon footprints
  • Educating through media

Engage our employees and stakeholders:

We will engage our employees and stakeholders in our net zero commitment and encourage them to take action to reduce their own environmental impact, in line with the WENTA campaign’s emphasis on collective action.

We will attain this objective by

  • Encouraging green transport
  • Green training
  • provide green incentives

Report our net zero commitment progress:

We will report regularly on our progress towards achieving net zero, in alignment with the WENTA campaign’s focus on transparency and accountability.
